About Us
We are a traditional family run lakeland pub situated on the A66 just outside of Keswick with probably one of the best views in the area. Situated at the foot of Blencathra Fell we are a popular watering hole for walkers and cyclist alike. We serve traditional pub food which is all sourced locally and freshly cooked to order. With the original building dating back to 1610AD, it became an Inn in the 18th century and we are the proud owners of an old Bible dating 1861AD. Come and sit by our open coal fire and sample some of our Cask Marque approved Real Ales, whilst using our free Wi-Fi maybe. We are open daily from 12pm until late, children and dogs welcome all day. Barry and Katy would like to extend a warm welcome to everyone and look forward to having you visit. |
